Church Music That Proclaims Christ

Steeped in the rich traditions of Lutheran church music, Trinity Lutheran Church in Sheboygan offers an active and growing music ministry for all ages. Rooted in historic hymnody and the liturgy, our music program exists to

proclaim Christ and serve the congregation in worship.

Vocal choirs and instrumental ensembles from both the church and school lift their praises to God through music. Nearly every Sunday at Trinity is accompanied by organ-led liturgy and the offerings of one or more of our parish choirs or instrumental groups.

The Buzard Pipe Organ

Recognizing the importance music has in the liturgical life of the congregation and recognizing that the pipe organ is the best instrument to lead congregational singing, Trinity installed a new pipe organ in the fall of 2012.

Built by the Buzard Pipe Organ Builders of Champaign, IL, it is the largest pipe organ in Sheboygan County, with 52 ranks, 40 independently speaking stops, and some 2930 pipes. The organ dedication coincided with the celebration of the congregation's 160th anniversary and the Mixed Choir's 150th anniversary.

A complete assortment of couplers at 16', 8' and 4' pitches can be found in the organ. The Festliche Trompete stops are not affected by any couplers in any division, nor by couplers between divisions.
