LORD, TEACH US TO PRAY!
February 13–15, 2026
Pastor Peter Bender will lead students in exploring prayer as God’s gracious gift. Prayer begins with the Lord speaking His Word of promise to us, and in faith we respond, trusting His care for body and life. Through Scripture and the daily reception of God’s Word, students will learn what it means to receive grace upon grace and live confidently as baptized children of God.
The retreat is open to junior high and high school students (Grades 7–12) and costs $50 per person, which includes lodging, meals, and a t-shirt. Trinity Lutheran Church opens at 6:00 p.m. Friday for housing and fellowship. The retreat begins with registration at 7:00 a.m. Saturday and concludes Sunday at 10:30 a.m. following Divine Service and Bible study. Registration is limited to 200 participants, and t-shirts are guaranteed for registrations received by January 30.
Students should bring toiletries, a sleeping bag, pillow, change of clothes, a Bible, and a Small Catechism.

Why Trinity?
Trinity is more than a church or school—it’s a family in Christ. Rooted in Lutheran tradition and Scripture, we exist to make known the love of Christ to all.
“There’s such a thing as objective, absolute truth—and it’s found in Jesus Christ and His Word.”
— Rev. Dr. Matthew Harrison, President, LCMS
Trinity Lutheran School is proud to be part of the second-largest parochial school system in the United States: The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod.
In this short audio message, LCMS President Rev. Dr. Matthew Harrison shares what sets Lutheran schools apart—from a firm belief in the value of every human life to the foundation of truth in Scripture, the identity God gives us, and the hope we have in Christ.
